Aditya Birla opens first American Eagle store in Bengaluru

Aditya Birla has opened its first licensed American Eagle store in Bengaluru with a 3,000 square foot space in the city’s Orion Mall. The new store retails men’s and women’s denim and casual wear.

The US-based denim and apparel brand now has a presence in Bengaluru, India license holder Aditya Birla announced in a press release. The store opened with the brand’s holiday collection of themed apparel as well as its fall 2019 collection and range of winter and ski coats.

“We strongly believe that Bengaluru as a market is extremely important for a brand like ours as we have consumers here who understand the denim culture and are always updated with the latest fashion trends,” Aditya Birla Fashion Retail’s Fast Fashion Business CEO, Sooraj Bhat, said in the brand’s press release.

“We are excited to expand to Bengaluru and are looking forward to cater to the millennials with our unique product offering. We have received an overwhelming response already and will strive towards exciting our consumers in Bengaluru.”

Aditya Birla first launched American Eagle Outfitters in India in 2018 after signing a multi-store retail and e-commerce license agreement with the brand in 2017. Aditya Birla has opened American Eagle stores in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Chennai, Mumbai, and Guwahati.
