Adidas opens largest India store to date
Adidas opened its largest sized flagship store in India to date in Select CityWalk mall, New Delhi on November 3. The store opened with a launch party and was inaugurated by Bollywood celebrity and Adidas brand ambassador Ranveer Singh.
Singh gave a high-energy performance to open the store, Adidas announced in a press release on November 4. Adidas’ new store measures 6,800 square feet and houses the brand’s wide selection of sports wear and accessories ranging from football apparel to the brand’s collaborative Stella McCartney collection for women.
"We're confident that with the new Adidas store at Select CityWalk, we have created an unrivalled experience for shoppers," said Adidas India's senior brand director Sunil Gupta in a press release. "Our most digitally enhanced store ever and a hub of creativity and innovation, this store is the very best expression of our brand all in one amazin blockbuster destination."
Inside the store, shoppers can customise both clothing and footwear in the interactive ‘Delhi Lab’. The store also gives shoppers exclusive access to its premium Y-3 collection and celebrates the upcoming World Cup with a specially curated football inspired approach tunnel to the store. The store has a number of high-tech features, designed to combine digital innovation with unique shopper experiences.
