Ada opens new store in Lucknow

Traditional wear brand Ada has opened a new exclusive brand outlet in Lucknow inside Lulu Mall. The spacious outlet opened its doors on Thursday with an array of the brand’s signature Chikankari designs for women.

“Unleash the beauty of Indian traditions with Ada’s exquisite collection of women's apparel,” announced Lulu Mall on Facebook on May 4. “Step into the store at Lulu Mall, Lucknow and discover the perfect blend of elegance and style that will leave you mesmerised.”

The store has a glass façade and warm, golden hued interior. Seating areas are designed to create a convivial atmosphere and enable shoppers to browse sarees and pre-stitched kurtas in a wide variety of colours and prints. The store’s gold accents, cream walls, and natural wood bring to mind Mughal architecture and a central island showcases Ada’s latest kurta designs.

Ada specialises in Chikankari sarees, made in Lucknow as a traditional craft. The brand is positioned in the mid segment of the market and also retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.

Ada works to promote Lucknowi crafts globally through its e-commerce store. The brand works with a network of over 30,000 women artisans in Lucknow and aims to support the handicraft sector, according to its website.
