Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creates bridal couture for Ambani- Mehta wedding

The design duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla created custom wedding attire for Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani’s nuptials on March 10.
Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, a fashion brand known for its opulent traditional wear, created hand embroidered couture for the Ambani-Mehta wedding. The ceremony, which took place at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre, saw bride Shloka Mehta adorned in the brand’s couture wearing a lehenga set with two embellished dupattas.
Mehta’s lehenga featured zardozi intricate cut work jaali as well as zardozi featuring fine zardozi and jadau embroidery, all done by hand. One of Mehta’s dupattas featured floral motifs and the other featured bootis. Mehta’s groom Ambani wore a pale gold sherwani, also by the design duo.
The Ambani family have long chosen the brand for their couture and Nita Ambani also wore a peach georgette chikankari ensemble by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the ceremony. A number of guests also wore the brand including Shweta Bachchan and Ranveer Singh.
Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was founded in 1986 and specialises in occasion, bridal, and traditional wear. The brand have two stores in Mumbai and one in Delhi as well as the same for their ASAL line and a Gulabo store in Goa.
