Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla partners with CPAA for fashion show

The designer duo of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla collaborated with the Cancer Patients Aid Association for a fashion show to celebrate the latter’s 50th anniversary.
 

The show titled ‘Inheritance, an ode to the textiles and embroideries of India’ was organised with an aim to raise funds for the cancer survivors.
 
“It is an immense honour and privilege to work with CPAA for the third year in a row. Their work to empower and heal people and families affected by cancer is unsurpassed," Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla said in a joint statement.

“We have sourced the most exquisite fabrics and textiles from across India, from leading weavers and companies. Each an expert in a particular weave. These fabrics form the DNA of this collection. Our flight of fantasy to take our inheritance and create beauty," they added.
 
Fashion designer and politician Shaina NC also showcased her collection at the event. Some of the celebrities that walked the ramp for the designer duo included Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, and Karan Johar.
 
Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was founded in 1986 and specialises in occasion, bridal, and traditional wear.
