Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla complete 33 years; launches menswear label Mard

Designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have completed 33 years in the fashion industry and celebrated the occasion with a fashion show in the city of Mumbai.
 

The designer duo also launched a menswear label ‘Mard’ on the occasion, which was opened by young actor Meezan Jaffrey. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone walked the ramp as the showstopper for the designers.
 
Abu Sandeep collaborated with Sunteck Realty, India’s luxury realty brand Sotheby's Realty and Moët & Chandon for the fashion show.

“We wanted to design and create a mood at this show, which allowed your imagination to soar along with our creative expression. It’s a very special milestone for us. A celebration of the circle of style and our creativity. This collection is a symphony of ranges, a fluid flow of melodious creativity. Ultimately this collection is an expression of experimentation,” in a statement said Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
 
Deepika Padukone added, “I am delighted to be here this evening and walk for Abu and Sandeep. Their work is priceless. It’s a fantasy ensemble, perfect to mark their design milestone and the dream homes created by Sunteck.”
 
Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was founded in 1986 and specialises in occasion, bridal, and traditional wear. The brand has two stores in Mumbai and one in Delhi.
