Abhinav Mishra opens new flagship store in Delhi

Luxury designer Abhinav Mishra has opened a new flagship store at Regency One at Chattarpur in New Delhi. The two-storey store measures 1,770 square feet and is decorated with the mirror work his designs have become known for. 

“Welcome to our new flagship store in Chattarpur Delhi,” announced the brand on Facebook. “A confluence of the old and new, a quintessential Abhinav Mishra experience. 
 
Located across from New Delhi’s Dhan Mill compound, the store has been designed to resemble a palace. Wedding horse statues welcome shoppers inside and the store has been built around the shell of a tree. The store has a dedicated segment for bridal wear and opened with Mishra’s ‘Tara Sitara’ and ‘Dilbar’ occasion wear collections. 

“The idea was to make sure that if you enter the store, not everything should be on your face,” Mishra told Vogue India about the new store. “There is sunlight, claywork, and the clothes are maximalist so the setup had to be minimalist because the idea was to create a calming space with natural sunlight, sprawling greens and soft tones with inspiration drawn from my travels and all the things I’ve loved since childhood.”
