ABFRL's Peter England launches campaign to encourage shoppers to get vaccinated
Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited’s menswear brand Peter England has launched a new campaign ‘Time to Vaccinate’ to offer its vaccinated customers store credit of Rs 1,000 ($13.44).
As ‘non-essential’ brick-and-mortar stores begin to reopen across India, Peter England’s new initiative is designed to keep its retail spaces as safe as possible, the brand announced in a press release on Tuesday. Vaccinated customers making a purchase of Rs 1,999 or over can avail Rs 1,000 store credit, applicable on top of any existing discounts.
“We are proud to announce our #TimetoVaccinate initiative in the shared interest of public health and safety,” said Peter England’s COO Manish Singhai in a press release. “We recognise that as a community, we are facing a catastrophic pandemic on a global level and we feel it’s our responsibility to keep propelling the vaccination movement across the nation. With this initiative from Peter England, we aim to ensure the well-being of our patrons.”
Shoppers who have had the first or second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine can use their “free shopping” in exclusive brand outlets discount until June 30. Customers can show a CoWin screen-grab or Dose certificate, along with their Aadhaar card, as proof of vaccination. The brand has also launched a social media campaign to accompany its in-store initiatives.
