Aavidi by Dimple holds pop-up showcase at Ogaan, Mumbai

Womenswear brand Aavidi by Dimple showcased its designs at Ogaan’s Kala Ghoda store in Mumbai to bring its latest collection to the city’s shoppers.

Aavidi by Dimple set up shop at the multi-brand luxury Indian fashion boutique Ogaan’s Mumbai address to showcase its festive collection in the city on November 9. The brand’s latest collection features textiles including chanderi, silk, and hand-embroidery and has a colour palette of off-white, black, and yellow.

 The collection is relaxed and understated with loose silhouettes which allow the hand-embroidered details to stand out. Fusion-style kurta tops are paired with loose bottoms for day-to-evening sets.

Dimple Bhatia Sehrawat launched Aavidi by Dimple in 2015 after graduating in Fashion Design and Clothing Technology from the Pearl Academy fashion institute in New Delhi. The brand specialises in handloom textiles such as Khadi, cotton, and cotton blends. The brand has also held pop-up shops in Kolkata, New Delhi, and Hyderabad recently.

Ogaan has five stores in New Delhi and one each in Hyderabad and Mumbai as well as a dedicated e-commerce store. The multi-brand retailer opened its first brick-and-mortar store in 1989 and retails a wide range of brands including Raw Mango, Torani, Anita Dongre, and Mishru among others.
