Aasyaa to hold saree showcases in four cities this spring

Women’s traditional wear brand Aasyaa will hold pop-up Banarasi saree showcases in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, and Indore this spring to bring its handloom line to new locations and new customers.

Aasyaa will showcase its latest collection of traditional wear at the Cache Art Gallery from January 27 to 29, the brand announced on Facebook. The business-to-customer exhibition will bring the brand to a wider audience and showcase its textiles, Chudidaars, Anarakalli, short kurtis, and sarees in the city. The brand also recently held a Mumbai a showcase on January 20 at the Shagun Art Gallery which concluded on January 23.
 
From February 13 to 14, Aasyaa will set up shop in Ahmedabad and hold a pop-up at the city’s Anay Gallery. Then, from February 17 to 18, the brand will bring its handcrafted Chikankari and hand embroidered, hand painted creations to Nagpur for a pop-up at the Gondwana Gallery.

Finally, from February 21 to 22, Aasyaa will hold an event at Café at Blu in Indore to launch its latest collection in the city. 
 
Aasyaa is based in Varanasi and specialises in the region’s textile crafts. “Aasyaa” means “grace” in Sanskrit as the brand aims “to make every woman beautiful and graceful,” according to its Facebook page.
