Aashni &Co launches Gaurang in UK with pop-up showcase

London-based luxury Indian fashion retailer Aashni & Co launched handwoven Indian traditional wear brand Gaurang in the UK with a pop-up showcase which runs until March 15.

On March 11, Aashni & Co launched Gaurang in London, UK, with a pop-up showcase at its luxury boutique in the British capital’s Notting Hill district, the boutique announced on Facebook. Gaurang presented its spring/ summer 2020 collection ‘Garam Masala’ at the showcase and gave London’s shoppers their first chance to browse the collection in person. 
 
Gaurang first launched its Garam Masala collection on the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai. The collection features handloom sarees, kurtas, and gowns with a mix of highly traditional floral prints and more modern, graphic prints. 

Gaurang is currently expanding its international distribution network through a range of pop-up shopping events. From March 6 to 8, the brand launched its collection in California, US, at luxury boutique Fashion by Rohini. 
 
Gaurang Shah launched traditional wear brand Gaurang in 2012. The label has brick-and-mortar stores in India in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Gaurang also produces a line of menswear which can be found in its exclusive brand outlets.
