Aashni & Co launches Anita Dongre’s latest collection in London, UK

UK-based multi-brand luxury Indian fashion retailer Aashni & Co launched womenswear designer Anita Dongre’s spring/ summer collection ‘Summer in Santorini’ in London at an exclusive event in Notting Hill. 

 
From February 29 to March 1, Aashni & Co held an exclusive UK launch event for Anita Dongre’s latest bridal wear collection, the boutique announced on Facebook. The event gave London’s shoppers their first chance to see the collection in person. 
 
Summer in Santorini features blue hues inspired by the blue-roofed buildings of Santorini as well as hues of lemon yellow, light turquoise, magenta, orange, and coral to create a fresh, summery colour palette. The collection’s ivory ensembles featured heavily at the pop-up as the colour is popular for fusion weddings in the UK.

The collection features traditional wear staples such as lehengas as well as fusion wear designs including gowns and jumpsuits. Floral motifs are mixed with more geometric-style patterns and sheer textiles add dimension.
 
Aashni & Co has also recently launched bridal collections by Indian designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and Delhi Vintage Co. The boutique also partnered with womenswear brand Gaurang to launch its spring/ summer collection ‘Garam Masala’ at a recent pop-up on London’s Ledbury Road.
