Aakar Beauty and Salon Expo to hold sixth edition in Ahmedabad this October

Cosmetics trade show Aakar Beauty and Salon Expo will bring together businesses from across the country for its sixth edition from October 3 to 5 at the YMCA International Centre in Ahmedabad.

 
The three-day trade show will feature businesses in product categories including cosmetics, salon equipment, makeup artists, haircare, skincare, and lifestyle goods, among others. Around 150 exhibitors are set to take part in the event and around 6,000 guests are expected, according to the event’s 10Times page.
 
As well as booths for cosmetics and other beauty-related brands, the expo will feature a number of beauty competitions to enable industry professionals to compete for awards. The event will also feature meet-and-greet sessions with well-known makeup artists.

The event was originally scheduled to run from August 25 to 26 and then it was rescheduled to run from September 13 to 14, but was again postponed, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As active Covid-19 cases are dropping in Gujarat and vaccination uptake is on the rise, the improved situation in the state has allowed for the event’s rescheduling. 
 
Beauty and Salon Expo held its first event in 2015 and held its most recent edition in 2018. The trade show focuses on the Gujarat area.
