PARIS, France - French logistics group Norbert Dentressangle announced on Monday that it had signed a deal with online retailer ASOS for the management of the British company’s logistics platform for the next three years. The deal is valued at £100 million.

“Norbert Dentressangle will exclusively manage ASOS’ global logistics platform,” said the transport company in a press release. ASOS – who reported third quarter revenue at £194 million – ships to 241 countries from its global fulfillment centre in Barnsley, United Kingdom.

Norbert Dentressangle took over responsibility for the management of ASOS’ global fulfilment centre during the month of August.

The centre in Barnsley provides more than 1.1 million sq ft of floor space and employs 1200 people, all of whom have been offered the opportunity to transfer to Norbert Dentressangle from the retailer's former service provider, Unipart Logistics.
