For its 39th edition, Texworld Paris, which begins from September 12, will see participation of nearly 950 exhibitors from 24 countries, an increase of 5 per cent compared to September 2015.

Texworld Paris will see participation of nearly 950 exhibitors from 24 countries.

The show for the first time will be debuting a new section, Elite, for which the selection committee of Messe Frankfurt France has carefully picked suppliers, who have to meet many conditions.

11 exhibitors have been selected from Turkey, three each from Taiwan and Pakistan, two from India and one each from Netherlands, Lebanon and Japan and who will be showing fabrics for the most refined and exacting markets.

According to the organiser, Elite facilitates the search for a la carte sourcing and streamlines the exchanges related to specific requests.

“The result of this grouping of essential products for quality garment collections is maximum convenience, for a quick and clear visit,” it observed.

Elite will be completing Texworld Paris's much appreciated ‘Small Quantities and My Sustainable Sourcing’ sections, serving as a useful guide for visitors with those specific needs.

Under the aegis of the Federation of Korean Textile Industries (KOFOTI), 30 Korean exhibitors will, for the first time, be present together at Texworld.

50 other Korean exhibitors will be presenting their expertise, corresponding to the different sectors of the show and with a total of 80 exhibitors; Korea is the third most represented country at Texworld.

Another section is Denimotion, which pays tribute to the ever-growing dynamism of the denim sector and will see denim makers from Pakistan, India and China.

The winners of the Dinan 2016 International Festival of Young Designers, José Luis Gutierrez, winner of the women's fashion prize and Clément Dollet for men's fashion too will be showing off their creations.
