The 12th trade fair of Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI), India's leading apparel group of manufacturers and traders, has kicked off in Chennai with pomp and show. The ongoing trade event that will conclude on August 3, 2017, includes participation of manufacturers and traders of readymade and unstitched garments of men, women and children.

More than 100 renowned apparel brands including Ethos, Geevankee, Era, Final Choice, Torso Shirts, Diya Design Studio and All Timez will showcase their newly launched collection to attract retailers and MBOs across Tamil Nadu.
"We have always received an overwhelming response in Chennai and look forward to a larger response this time. We would like to thank our chief guest and dignitaries for gracing the occasion and making AMI a larger success," Nikhil Furia, key organiser, AMI said during the inaugural ceremony.
"This is our 5th fair at Chennai and we look forward to conduct many more fairs here in the coming years," said Furia.
AMI kicked off its first exhibition in January 2015 with the aim of bridging the gap between retailers, agents and suppliers. Its' core purpose is to grow together and build a strong network for mutual growth. Till date, AMI has conducted 11 fairs across Kochi, Chennai and Hyderabad and reached out to more than 8000 retailers and MBOs.
