Indian fashion brand 'KH House of Khaddar' has extended its support to the fashion sustainability bill in New York terming it a game-changer for the global fashion industry.

Actor-politician Kamal Haasan’s recently launched brand 'KH House of Khaddar' in collaboration with designer Amritha Ram in Chicago.
 
The brand feels that the bill, if passed will hold fashion brands that continually cause environmental damage accountable for their actions.

Commenting on the bill, Amritha Ram, partner and designer of KH House of Khaddar in a statement said, "We are proud to be associated with a brand that is an integral part of the green revolution. I am grateful that Kamal Haasan thought that I can shoulder the responsibility of taking an Indian fabric global. It is our endeavour to make khadi a pioneer in sustainability and we as a brand a wholly committed to the cause."
 
KH House of Khaddar claims to be a 100-percent eco brand that sources fabric directly from the weavers and each fabric is hand dyed with organic dyes with zero chemical wastes and zero carbon footprints. The brand sells to customers from across the globe on the brand’s exclusive website.
