‘D2C Ecommerce’ raises Rs 6 crore in funding round to launch in India

Multi-brand e-commerce platform ‘D2C Ecommerce’ has entered the direct-to-consumer online market with a fund raise of Rs 6 crore in a funding round by led Ravi Khushwani and others.

Its platform ‘d2csale’ is currently operational and houses private label brands from the start-up across categories like fitness, sports, beauty, cosmetics, apparel, accessories, among many others.

D2C Ecommerce plans to utilise the funds raised to diversify its product portfolio and customer acquisition. It is banking on its affordable pricing to drive sales on its platform.

Commenting on the launch, Manish Gupta, CEO founder, D2C Ecommerce in a statement said, "We are really excited to debut our first-of-its-kind multi-brand retail platform in the country. Our platform is user friendly and caters to all age groups, income classes and we have already witnessed a phenomenal response from consumers towards our offerings.” 

“We would like to thank our investors for believing in our vision for the company, and we hope to bond and grow together as a family. We want to allocate these funds to invest in brands, expand our product offerings, add new cutting-edge technologies and at the same time scale up our customer acquisition. We also plan to expand our workforce and ensure last-mile delivery, and thereafter, branch out into new categories,” he added.

D2C Ecommerce’s products are also available on other leading e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra, and Meesho.
