From Hervé Léger to Hervé L.Leroux :The death of the designer of the famous bandage dresses.

Hervé L. Leroux, was one the most well-known catouriers in the world with his bandage dress. This French designer, having worked closely with Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi and Chanel, founded his brand Hervé Léger in 1985. He very quickly achieved success with his elasticated bandages that he used to shape dresses, which appeared to be sculpted around the body. In 1999 the brand was bought by founder of the American group BCBG Max Azria, who decided to separate himself from the designer.Hervé re-christened himself as Hervé L.Leroux and preferred to work with discretion. He opened an atelier boutique in 2000 in Paris and was invited to present his designs, no longer bandages but drapes, at an Haute Couture week in 2013…. It was a good opportunity to reconnect with his work and to listen to him talk about women… Musique free from rights / Bandit & Nikit / 2017
