“We are growing ISU to different channels,” the business’ head, Rashi Gulati Menda, told Images Retail Bureau. “It is important for the UI and UX of an e-commerce website to be seamless since [the] majority of the population start looking at a product on one device and end up making the purchase on another… We have listed ISU on online platforms and are planning to go offline with large multi-brand stores as well.”

Isu is Zapyle’s first private label and the business plans to launch more in the near future, although no dates have been set as yet. Isu was designed to cater specifically to the Indian body type: “Indian body types are very different from rest of the world,” said Menda. “It is very difficult for Indian women to find clothing that fits well without having to have them altered.”

Zapyle was launched by Rashi Gulati Menda in June 2015. The e-commerce store features clothing ranging in price from around 800 rupees to just under one lakh rupees. The business’ demographic is women aged 18 to 30 years in Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities.
