Wedding Diaries fashion show to take place in Swabhumi from September 14 to 16

The India Story will present Wedding Diaries from September 14 to 16 at the Swabhumi in Kolkata and the event will feature a number of designers including Ritu Kumar, Malini Ramani, and Suneet Varma.

As part of the fashion and lifestyle event The India Story, a wedding fashion event entitled Wedding Diaries will run over two days of the three-day event. The wedding show will feature a number of fashion brands including Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Ri by Ritu Kumar, Raw Mango by Sanjay Garg, Suneet Varma, Antar-Agni by Ujjwal Dubey, Kavita Bhartia, Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta, Malini Ramani, and Khanijo by Gaurav Khanijo. There will also be presentations by Laju Shaparia, Benaras by Citrus, Rashi Kapoor, Aditi Somani, Kshitij Jalori, Rishi & Soujit, and Pramaa by Pratima Pandey. The designers will all present wedding wear collections.

The India Story wrote on its social media about its new wedding segment: “We hope to bring to you an experiential space bringing together the very best of bridal fashion, accessories, jewellery, lifestyle, as well as numerous ancillary wedding-related services.” The event will cover all aspects of the traditional Indian wedding and aims to be a one stop shop for couples planning their ceremony.

The India Story held its first edition in 2015 as a design exposition that aims to celebrate India’s design heritage and current designers. The centres around Kolkata and has so far held three editions.
