Top designers to showcase collection at ‘Infinite Opportunities’ fashion show

Top Indian designers will participate in the ‘Infinite Opportunities’ fashion show that is being organised by Tamana, a non-profit organisation in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) on August 26. The show is being held and co-hosted by the Hyatt Regency Delhi, which is Tamana’s charity partner.

Tamana, which works for the holistic rehabilitation of the differently-abled organises the event annually with FDCI with an endeavour to add dignity to the life of special kids and further sensitise society.
 
Top Indian designers like Abraham & Thakore, Anju Modi, Gaurav Jai Gupta, Payal Jain, Amit Aggarwal, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Payal Pratap Singh, Sanjay Garg and Ridhi Arora will showcase their collection at the event.

The designers will present a range created out of natural, recycled and upcycled fabrics with differently-abled walking the ramp for the designers, alongside leading models
 
Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon and Miss Teen Universe 2017 Srishti Kaur will add glamour to the show walking the ramp as showstoppers for designers Amit Aggarwal and Ridhi Arora, respectively.
 
Dr. Shayama Chona, Founder and President, Tamana, in a statement said, “This year’s show tagline is ‘Infinite Opportunities’, which means that the openings for the disabled have no barriers anymore. They rightfully deserve to walk with top models and best designers creating a blueprint of the future where no lines are drawn.”
 
Sangeeta Jaitely will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest while H.E. Harinder Sidhu, Australian High Commissioner to India will be the Guest of Honour, along with other distinguished guests.
 
Sunil Sethi, President FDCI said, “From difficulty in speech to anxiety and social withdrawal, the differently-abled face many challenges that we often just take for granted. The main aim of this event is to make people aware of such issues and not let the disability, overtake who they are and what they dream of being, rather help them through inclusion and understanding.”
 
For the last 10 years, Tamana has been organising the show with the theme of inclusion and the support of the fashion fraternity.
 
Last year Tamana had organised a Khadi fashion show which included designers like Abraham & Thakore, Anju Modi, Gaurav Jai Gupta, JJ Valaya, Payal Jain, Rahul Mishra, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Samant Chauhan.
