Toonz Retail opens fourth store in Pune, to add five more in 2018-19

Kids retail chain Toonz Retail has strengthened its position in the state of Maharashtra with its fourth store in the city of Pune. The company will be adding 5 more stores this fiscal and earmarked an investment of Rs 2 crore for the same.
 

The new store is located at Kuma Pacific Mall, Shankar Sheth Road, near Swargate, Katad Khana in Pune with an area of 700 sq feet.
 
The store will offer Toonz flagship brands like Wowmom, Superyoung along with other brands like Luvlap, Avent, Chicco, Himalaya, Tiffi Toffey, Mothercare and more.

“Pune is a growing market in kids’ retail segment and has become geographically a huge market for us. We have launched our fourth store in Pune and are looking at investing close to Rs 2 crore in Pune market to further add five stores by the end of 18-19, strengthening our foothold” Sharad Venkta, Managing Director & CEO Toonz Retail India Pvt Ltd, said in a statement.
 
With the physical expansion, Toonz Retail is targeting a turnover of Rs 100 crore ($15.5 million) in the next financial year.
 
Toonz Retail is a leading kid’s retail chain and operates over 105 stores spread across 52 cities in 15 states. Toonz is also available online on Flipkart, Snapdeal, Jabong, Firstcry, Amazon as well as its own e-commerce portal.
