Toile to hold eco-friendly market "Versatile Vasudha"

​Mumbai’s sustainable fashion boutique Toile will hold an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion exhibition, “Versatile Vasudha", from October 26 to 28 following the success of the event in Kolkata.

From October 26 to 28, the Toile store in Mumbai will host a sustainable fashion exhibition for the festive season. Described as “a traveller’s market” by the boutique in a press release, the exhibition will follow on from the “Versatile Vasudha” held in Kolkata by Toile’s founders Farheen Rahman and Priti Jain.

The exhibition will feature a total of 30 Indian and international sustainable designers including Ka Sha, Doodlage, Naushad Ali, Hatti Hatti, Kantala, Chola, Mayank Anand & Shraddha Nigam, and Fahd Khatri among others. The Design Collective from Sri Lanka will also take part.

“The term Versatile Vasudha indicates the versatility and vivacity of Mother Earth,” said the brand in a press release. “It celebrates, the sustainable factor of fashion. Designers from the world have been bought down to showcase their latest collections along with the well known sustainable designers of India.”

The event is open to all shoppers from 12pm to 8pm each day and will take place at the Toile boutique at the Samyakth Bliss Plot in Khar West, Mumbai.
