Titan Ltd MD Bhaskar Bhat, Saurabh Agrawal elevated to Tata Sons Board

Titan Ltd’s managing director Bhaskar Bhat, along with the chief financial officer of Tata group Saurabh Agrawal, have been elevated to the Tata Sons Board of Directors of the company.
 

N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons in a statement said, “We welcome Bhaskar and Saurabh to the Board of Directors. The Board will benefit from the tremendous experience and knowledge of these professionals in multiple domains. I wish them luck and look forward to working with them.”
 
Bhaskar Bhat is currently the managing director of Titan Company Limited and has been with the company since inception. He has been instrumental in driving the company by launching many brands in watches, jewellery, eyewear, and precision engineering that has led to the success of the firm.

Under Bhaskar’s leadership, the company has enlarged its portfolio and has extended its market now to eyewear accessories and fragrances and is exploring sarees.
 
Bhaskar is also the director for Trent, Bosch, Tata Chemicals, Rallis India, Tata SIA (Vistara), Tata Ceramics, Montblanc and Caratlane.
 
Saurabh Agrawal is the group chief financial officer and joined Tata Sons in June 2017 from the Aditya Birla Group, where he was the head of strategy.
