An initiative of the Neotia Arts Trust, this fashion and art event will take place at the Swabhumi in Kolkata this winter and will feature a variety of Indian fashion designers who will show both traditional and fusion wear.

Madhu Neotia, the Initiator and a Trustee of the Neotia Arts Trust said that the aim of the event is “bringing together the very best of what contemporary Indian design and arts retail has to offer.” Moreover, Abhilasha Sethia, the Co-Initiator and a Trustee of the Neotia Arts Trust, said about the upcoming event: “The India Story for me is like a coming together of five senses, the layering of touch and taste, sight, sound, and smell- almost like revisiting lost recipes of some cultures of the world- an exploration of the diversity of dimensions that make up contemporary India.”

Some of the fashion brands that will be participating in the event include Raw Mango from New Delhi, Roots by Bindu Mehta from Mumbai, Suede by Devina Juneja from Kolkata, and Rahul Mishra from New Delhi. Jewellery from designers such as Prana Jewels, Sapna Singhania, Maya, and Amrapali Jaipur will also feature at the event and lifestyle brands will also be present. A small area has also been reserved for NGOs to have stalls.
