Tata CLiQ’s luxury platform will have brands like Michael Kors, Furla, Coach, Hugo Boss and Armani Jeans. Burberry and Jimmy Choo are also in the offing and will be added in the next three months, a top official said in an Economic Times report.

“We are focusing on getting the customer experience right first. We are starting with bridge to luxury brands and will eventually add more luxury brands like Burberry and Jimmy Choo. We are talking to numerous luxury brands on a daily basis,” said Amit Rawal, head of business at Tata CLiQ Luxury.

“Genesis is bringing other brands to the table. You will see new brands being added on a daily basis in the next three months,” he said.

The platform will deliver to 4,500 PIN codes initially and aims to take it up to 6,000 PIN codes, or about 15% of the total postal network in the country.

Rawal said a lot of brands planning to enter India are evaluating online platform as an entry strategy.

"Our goal is to make this the definitive platform for luxury. A lot of brands are hesitant in opening stores here and there wasn't a brand like Tata in the digital space before,” he said.

“Our focus is on international brands but will be looking at the Indian couture category as well. We want to build the best assortment for categories like hand bags and luxury watches," added Rawal

Genesis Luxury is the Indian marketing and distribution partner for luxury and high-fashion brands including Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Coach, Canali, Paul Smith and Furla.
