Swedroe by Ariel launches its first-ever collection

Swedroe by Ariel, the women’s ready-to-wear label from 13-year-old designer Ariel, has launched its first-ever collection.

 
The new collection, which consists of cocktail dresses, skirts, jackets, shorts and swimsuits for women and ties for men, focuses on resort wear perfect for the Miami lifestyle. Most of the pieces in the collection, like the belts and dresses, utilize LED lights and were produced by laser cutting and 3D printing. The Miami-based brand designed and produced the entire collection in Miami and offers the collection on its website.
 
Ariel, the designer behind Swedroe by Ariel, drew inspiration for her collection from her grandfather, Robert Swedroe, who is a renowned architect and artist. At age 8, the Miami native enrolled in DesignLab Miami where she learned the skills and techniques to become a fashion designer.

“I am confident in what I believe in and how I envision my design,” said Ariel. “I always stay true to myself while I pursue my goals. I see it in my mind, I draw it on paper and the rest is history.”
