Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington enters Indian market

Luxury Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington has entered the lucrative luxury market in India in which it sees ‘huge potential’ with its first exclusive store in the financial capital Mumbai.

The store is located in the popular Fort area of the city and is spread across an area of 1000 square feet. It will house the latest collections of watches and accessories for men and women at their store.
 
The store will stock Daniel Wellington collections such as the Dapper, Classic and Classic Petite collection ranging between Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 (approx $150 to $200).
 
“India is an emerging and vibrant market with huge potential. Our increased presence enables us to accelerate our global expansion and it further reinforces our commitment to grow our business in the region,” Roger Kylberg, CEO of Daniel Wellington, said in a statement.
 
Daniel Wellington has also partnered with e-commerce firms like Myntra, Jabong, Flipkart to sell its watches online.
