Seth created Luxortium to fill what he perceives as a dearth of a “luxury” specific platform in India akin to those created for the fashion and art industries. Seth aims to bring together international and Indian luxury brands, including fashion, to foster their development in India, which has a growing luxury market.

Luxortium is an invitation-only consortium of executives and top marketers of luxury goods and services who target affluent customers in India. The organisation will soon found a Steering Committee of five members with Seth at the head and the committee will develop the main goals and targets of the organisation. Luxortium will create networking opportunities for luxury brand heads such as “CEO only” breakfasts and meetings. Collaborations between member brands will also be facilitated.

Seth described the organisation on social media, writing: “The Intent is to create a consortium that serves as a platform to foster connections, collaborations and conversations between luxury brands. About luxury brands. With luxury consumers.”

Seth aims to have a Luxortium summit in India followed by London, Singapore, Dubai, and New York. The organisation’s founder members include American Express Bank, DLF (of DLF malls), and Reliance Brands.

Seth is looking to tie up with haute couture clothing brands and jewellery brands and just tied up with Diageo and Scarlet Splendour.
