Superdry on Saturday opened its largest store on the European continent. The flagship store located in Cologne’s Schildergasse Street spreads across 1,800 m² of retail space, and represents the brand’s second largest location after London.

The British contemporary label that fuses vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics opened its first German store in Munich in 2010 and has since then expanded further into Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In Germany Superdry is present in Berlin, Stuttgart, Essen, Hamburg and Sylt.

The brand operated in Germany through a franchise agreement with the fashion agency Komet und Helden until 2013, when it was acquired by SuperGroup. The group is now responsible for the label’s distribution.
