Suneet Varma closes AIFW SS18 with ‘Garden of Eden’, finale collections go online on Amazon

Indian Couturier Suneet Varma brought the curtains down on the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2018 (AIFWSS18) with his limited edition - ‘Garden of Eden’ at New Delhi.
 

Suneet Varma showcased his ‘Garden Of Eden’ collection to celebrate his 30th year in the fashion industry with a line of 35 limited edition ensembles.  The collection included a combination of traditional motifs alongside abstract creations through the use of sheer fabric, drapes and embellishments.

The collections showcased by the designers at the finale went online on leading e-commerce platform Amazon India’s recently launched ‘The Designer Boutique’.

“This is an extremely special season for us as we make, for the first time ever, aspirational fashion from the runway of AIFW immediately accessible exclusively at The Designer Boutique at Amazon.in. With this, we are taking a giant leap towards reinvention and new definitions of relevance in today’s digital economy while we democratize designer wear in India”, Arun Sirdeshmukh, Business Head, Amazon Fashion said in a statement.

We are thrilled to have presented the Finale that organically merges business with fashion in a world where technology means consumers want instant shopping satisfaction”.
 
Amazon Fashion’s exclusive ‘See Now Buy Now’ runway collections will also be available to customers directly through Facebook, Twitter’s shoppable catalogue, Instagram Direct & Instagram carousels.
 
The Designer Boutique at Amazon.in offers designer products for both women and men across apparels, accessories and footwear priced Rs 1500 to 30000 (approx $25 to $450).

The Amazon India Fashion Week is a bi annual event organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in collaboration with Amazon India.
