Suman B launches limited edition collection at Lola's Night Out

The Goa based designer Suman B launched a limited edition collection for her label Lola by Suman B and celebrated the launch of her first flagship store with the event Lola’s Night Out.

Suman Bhat, known as Suman B, recently opened her first brand flagship store in Goa’s capital, Panjim, and said: "Goa has a lot to do with who I am today and a lot of my inspiration as a designer is drawn from Goa, which is why I felt it was the perfect place to open my first store." The store carries the full collection of her brand, Lola by Suman B and includes casual wear and evening western wear.

Suman B teamed up with the Danda Food Project for her event and they chose the occasion to roll out their Pod to Plate dinner concept; a nine course chocolate themed dinner. The venue was the fine dining Maracas restaurant and each look from Suman B’s limited edition collection was accompanied by a dish that was designed to complement the garment’s design. The collection launched on the brand’s Instagram shop on December 21 and is now available to order.

Suman B launched her label in April 2013. As well as having a flagship store in Goa, Lola by Suman B is also stocked in a number of multi-brand designer boutiques across India. These include Kitsch, The Bombay Attic, Aza, and Creo. Although the brand does not have its own e-commerce store yet, online orders can be placed through the brand’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
