Spicejet airline to sell Rohit Bal, Sunny Leone products

Indian airline Spicejet is planning to enter the retail business and will sell products by leading Indian fashion designer Rohit Bal and Bollywood actress Sunny Leone's branded perfumes through various channels, including in flight sale, online platform, airport shops and retail outlets.

The airline is set to sell a whole range of products ranging from purses to shades through its subsidiary called Spice Style, according to an Economic Times report.

Spice Style is part of SpiceJet Merchandise Pvt Ltd, the airline’s arm that is engaged in the business of consumer merchandise and goods, which will include electronic items, readymade apparels and accessories.

The arm engages in the business through in flight sales, online, and via airport shops and retail outlets.
 
An airline executive, when contacted, said that the plans are still being made. "There are a lot of plans and are still in the process," said a SpiceJet executive.
