Soltee by Sulakshana Monga opens first flagship store in Mumbai

Soltee by Sulakshana Monga has opened its first flagship store in Mumbai in the city’s Kala Ghoda area.

The brand opened its third store in India, and fourth globally, in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda district. Situated at Lion’s Gate in Fort, the store finds itself amongst an increasing number of luxury fashion boutiques in the area.

The store is lavishly decorated with high ceilings and a sweeping staircase. The floors are golden and the walls are painted in pastel peach which matches the colour palette of many of the brand’s designs.

The store’s interior design was modelled on a Rajasthani Haveli and features alcoves, antique furniture, and gold pillars surrounding mannequins placed on platforms. Soltee by Sulakshana Monga’s latest collection of womenswear and menswear is available in store and tulle lehenga cholis, gowns, and sarees are the store’s showstoppers.

Sulakshana Monga launched the brand Soltee by Sulakshana Monga in April 2003 and since then the brand has gone on to win several awards including the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Award in the field of art and culture in 2015. Along with the new store in Mumbai, there are Soltee by Sulakshana Monga stores in Delhi and Ludhiana as well as one in Birmingham, UK.
