India’s leading online shopping destination Myntra has claimed to have sold goods worth Rs 10 crores in the first five minutes of its sale event End of Reason Sale (EORS).

The e-tailer had earlier said that a total of 1 crore products worth Rs 7,000 crore (MRP value) have been wish listed by 1.5 million people at their preview sale that is currently underway and ends of January 5.

The preview sale allowed Myntra to take a note of the fashion aspirations of shoppers across the country. Whereas, the said sale has allowed shoppers to preview Myntra’s current edition of EORS, the company said in a statement.

According to Myntra, the concept of previewing the sale during a no-sale day period and a day before the sale was first introduced in the last edition of EORS in July.

Taking this concept a step further during the current edition, Myntra said, it is allowing shoppers the opportunity to be among a privileged few who can begin shopping, a few hours before it opens its doors to the nation.
