Sachin Tendulkar unveils women’s westernwear line Ms Taken

Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has plunged into the approximately Rs 19,000 crore women’s westernwear market by launching Ms Taken. Ms Taken, which will target women between the age group of 20 to 30, and is designed by Bollywood actor Kirti Sanon. This is the third brand to be launched by the Tendulkar-backed company Universal Sportsbiz.

Universal Sportsbiz had earlier unveiled menswear brand Wrogn with Virat Kohli and women's ethnicwear brand Imara with another Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor.

“Ms Taken caters to young girls and women in the age bracket 20-30, by making fashion effortless for them," Anjana Reddy, CEO at Universal Sportsbiz told media agencies.

“Ours is the only homegrown Indian company with a noteworthy presence in the celebrity fashion lines business. Imara and Wrogn have already built remarkable resonance with our target customer segments,” she added.
