Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna showcase collection with Sonakshi Sinha at LMIFW

On day one of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week, the design duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna showcased a monochrome collection that starred the Bollywood celebrity Sonakshi Sinha.

Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s latest collection was glamorous, dark hued, and made for the evening. The design duo’s spring/ summer collection was monochrome and mixed traditional wear with more western gowns. Kurtas, coats, and jackets featured in black with silver embellishments and models wore dramatic eye makeup paired with a nude lip.

The Bollywood celebrity of “Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi” fame, Sonakshi Sinha, closed the show with the designers and wore a floor-length glittering black sequined gown paired with long, straight hair a dramatic smoky eye. Sinha’s figure-hugging dress also featured a thigh-high split and sheer panel on the front.

“I just have to walk and show myself in front of camera,” IANS quoted Sinha saying at the show. “From [the] make-up team to designers, they are the real people behind my look. The credits go to them.” The designers were equally complimentary and said: “Sonakshi is beautiful. She has so much talent in her. She is just gorgeous.”

The show took place on day one of at Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week in associated with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. LMIFW began on October 10 and will run until October 13.
