Prestigious Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli is back online with a completely renewed. It has also launched its new omnichannel and mobile friendly e-commerce, the brand said in a press release.

Its website www.robertocavalli.com has become the online flagship store to discover and directly purchase clothing and accessory collections of the house, for both men and women.

“We aim at being omni-channel, using our most important boutiques worldwide as hubs to send our products to more than 60 countries,” said Renato Semerari, CEO of the Cavalli Group.

“This way, we can not only offer to our clients a variety of merchandise that is wider and more faithful to our brand image; but we can also directly operate on the stock of products, thus reducing tangible assets,” he added.

Thanks to the new distribution system, clients in Italy, UK and US will enjoy a “pay-and-collect” service, allowing them to choose and order garments and accessories online, and find the nearest Roberto Cavalli boutique to collect their purchase.

“It is a full responsive platform – adapting to the habits of modern users, who ever more frequently prefer connected mobile devices to get the news and purchase,” Semerari said.

The new site is an open window to the world of Roberto Cavalli, offering thorough information on the roots and heritage of the brand, on its celebrities, on its creative director Peter Dundas, and on the brand's lifestyle.

“The new website will be fully interactive, taking up a pivotal role in the presentation of the collections, thanks to the live airing of the catwalk shows, a social media wall and photo gallery; giving clients across the world the chance to follow the shows live, discover the behind the scenes, and browse on-line the entire collections, as well as to experience the Cavalli world and meet its protagonists,” Semerari said.
