Celebrating the brand’s accomplishment of a decade in the industry since launching in 2007, Rimzim Dadu held the first runway show for this season of AIFW. The collection started out with folk inspired large floral embroidery for the daywear looks and transformed into metallic, iridescent eveningwear.

Building upon previous collections, the brand featured its “molten wire” technique on the eveningwear garments and they featured metal yarn as thin as human hair that was sewn together to create garments that looked both structured and fluid. Both traditional wear and western eveningwear was given this treatment and some outfits were entirely made from the metal thread whilst others were paired with loose silk for contrast. With this collection, Rimzim Dadu continued to explore new textures and fabrics, something the brand has become known for.

Rimzim Dadu is based in Noida and specialises in creating luxury garments with unusual textures. The brand has its own e-commerce store and is also available on other multi-brand e-commerce sites. The brand features in Brick and mortar multi-brand boutiques across India such as Aza in Mumbai and Collage in Chennai as well as in Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.
