On Sunday, February 4, as LFW’s Summer/ Resort edition was drawing to a close, Raamz showed a colourful, tailored collection entitled BoHo- Men. The runway show was part of the 6Degree Studios showcase and the celebrity Karan Singh Grover was the runway show’s special guest.

The collection was a very modern interpretation of bohemian style. Sharp tailoring for vests, jackets, and trousers was contrasted by the soft colour palate that included greys, muted corals, and baby pinks. High neck shirts paired with long line coats encapsulated the collection’s bohemian inspiration, especially when also paired with wide brim hats.

Footwear included trainers, some with feathers on the laces, and leather brogues and the feather theme was continued with large plumes embellishing some of the more outlandish jackets. Many of the ensembles were monochrome in either white or soft hues and collection’s soft femininity gave a nod to the recent opening up of gender norms in the Indian fashion industry.

Raamz was launched by the husband and wife duo Chandrika and Raamz in 2013. The brand specialises in menswear and is based in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Making their LFW debut at last year’s Summer/ Resort edition, the brand has continued to show there since.
