The event takes place at the Ayre Gran Colon Hotel in Madrid from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 of September. Each year artists from all over the world donate unique Barbie creations for an Ebay auction in September, gathering funds for the charity program “One toy one Illusion”.

However, Letizia’s Barbie will not be auctioned or sold commercially.

According to Mónica Núñez, president of the Official Barbie Club in Spain, the doll will be solely on display at the event and will be sent later as a gift to the Queen.

The Barbie was created by Russian company AFD Group, which has also developed dolls of Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston and Elizabeth Taylor.
