Primark to debut in Madrid largest flagship store in Spain

Primark is about to open its largest flagship store in Spain. According to Spanish newspaper Expansión, the Irish retailer is set to debut the new store in Gran Vía on October 15, unveiling its largest retail location in the country.

The new Madrid flagship store is due to open within a month


The store will be located at number 32 of the central Madrid street, in a building owned by Inditex owner, Amancio Ortega. In addition to the Primark store, the building also houses similar international fashion chains such as H&M and Lefties.

The property, which comprises 36,376 square meters and nine floors, was acquired by the real estate investment company, Pontegadea.
