From heels to handbags, there’s no doubt that fashion professionals are cognizant of the fact that the style projected on a television screen can captivate the consumer. With that in mind, Daniel Lawson—the costume designer behind the CBS legal and political drama The Good Fight—and Joan Goodman, the brainchild behind Italian jewelry line Pono, collaborated to create a 17-piece resin necklace collection that can be seen on the actresses such as Christine Baranski, Stockard Channing and Brooke Shields who appear on the show.

The best-selling Queen of Diamonds - Pono

Known for his on-point work dressing the well-heeled crowd on shows such as  Lipstick Jungle and Bored to Death, this is not Lawson’s first time collaborating with the Italian resin jewelry brand. It was in 2006 that Lawson first reached out to the then two-year-old company. “It was very apparent that Joan and I shared the same aesthetic,” says Lawson. For the DL for Pono collection, two types of Italian resin (clear and frosted) are used along with authentic metal plating. "Daniel’s crazy level of sophistication pushes me," explains Goodman. "When I am working with him to create things for Diane (Christine Baranski's character on The Good Wife), I am aspiring to get to the next level of design."

Pieces such as the best-selling Queen of Diamonds are available for S/S 2017, and Lawson and Goodman are already collaborating on additional pieces for F/W 2017/2018. All DL for Pono pieces ($225-$350) are designed and made in Italy.
