Payal Singhal opens first flagship store in New Delhi

On December 19, Payal Singhal opened her first flagship store in Delhi in association with the multi designer platform Carma.

The flagship store is a first for Delhi and their second in India after opening in Mumbai some time ago. The brand’s new flagship store is located on Kalkadas Marg in New Delhi’s Mehrauli district which is fast becoming a haven for homegrown luxury brands. “We are very excited to give them [customers] an opportunity to shop the entire Payal Singhal product range under one roof,” said Singhal.

The store has an Art Deco theme but interpreted in a simpler, more modern way. The walls are adorned with distressed mirrors and soft pink velvet furniture has been placed throughout the space. Singhal’s ethnic wear has been displayed with a special focus on the upcoming winter party season which shoppers can browse from today.

For the store opening, Singhal has collaborated with Carma India, a multi-designer platform that also has boutiques in New Delhi’s Mehrauli and Qutub areas and on the city’s Malcha Marg. Carma was established by Lekha Poddar and Malvika Poddar and they also work with brands including Sabyasachi and Shyamal and Bhumika. The business also runs a multi-brand e-commerce store that ships across India.
