PC Jeweller to open 5 new stores in India

India’s jewellery major PC Jeweller Limited will be expanding its presence in the Indian market and has announced the opening of 5 new exclusive stores in the country.
 

The company has chosen a mix of metro and tier 1 cities for its new stores and will be opening all 5 outlets on a single day i.e. March 18. The showrooms will be in opened in Palwal (Haryana), Kaithal (Haryana), Krishnanagar (Delhi), Rohini (New Delhi) and Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), the company said in a BSE filing.
 
PC Jeweller has posted strong numbers in the third quarter with profits soaring 52 percent to Rs 163 crore (approx $25.6 million) on the back of strong sales. The company is very bullish on its growth and expected to add 10 more retail outlets in the coming months as it focuses on value addition to increase its market share.

With its pan Indian expansion, the company expects to further increase market share and is eyeing sales revenue of Rs 10,000 crore (approx $1550 million) in this financial year.
