Ouai launches hair supplements

Ouai hair care has just announced it will be launching its own brand of ingestible hair supplements next week.

Ouai's new hair supplements, launching April 7th - Ouai

The hair supplements will focus on the three most popular hair issues that plague consumers: dry hair, oily scalp, and thinning hair. The supplements come in the form of oral pills, taken once daily.

The supplements claim to have the ability to noticeably change a consumer's' hair in just 90 days. Concocted from a mix of vitamins, minerals, and natural extracts, the line of supplements was developed in collaboration with Dubai skincare expert Lamees Hamdan, founder of skincare line Shiffa.

Ouai was started by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, whose most notable clients include the members of the Kardashian dynasty. Ouai focuses on sulfate-free products that help achieve casual, beachy hairstyles.

This announcement marks the first time a major hair care brand has ventured into the ingestible supplement realm.

There are, however, several brands that offer exclusively ingestible hair-care supplements. For example, Sugar Bear Hair is a hair care supplement company that has swept social media, choosing to pay social media influencers, like Khloe Kardashian and contestants from reality TV show The Bachelor, to promote the products on their accounts. Sugar Bear Hair creates daily supplements - in the shape of little blue gummy bears - that are said to make customer's hair longer and stronger.
