Myntra, which is owned by Flipkart, has recently been working to grow the beauty section of their e-commerce site as they are predominantly known for their fashion. However, Nykaa, an e-commerce site that specialises in cosmetics, has accused them of trying to steal their staff, specifically from their marketing department.

On December 6, Nykaa stated that they believed Myntra, or the recruitment partner the business uses, Prudent HR, had tried to lure their own staff members to work for Myntra in a move that they felt was unethical. A company official from Nykaa who requested to remain anonymous said: “They have attempted to poach unsuccessfully. Myntra is a great organisation with some of the best practices, it's just that their recruitment partners are not ethical, and I am sure the message would have reached out to them.”

As yet, Myntra have not made a statement on the matter. Prudent HR, however, has contacted Nykaa officials to respond that there had been a miscommunication on their end and that they will keep a strong check on this moving forward.
