Navrathan opens Special Diamond Boutique, its first diamond only jewellery shop

Navrathan Jewellers has launched its first boutique to sell only diamond jewellery in Bengaluru, the city in which it is based.

The Special Diamond Boutique is in the Jayanagar district of Bengaluru and was opened with a formal event attended by the label’s Managing Director, M. Gautham Chand, as well as South Indian film stars Yash and Radhika Pandit, and members of the Government of India. The inauguration took place on Sunday the August 6 at the boutique itself.

The boutique measures 2,500 square feet and covers an entire floor of the jeweller’s department store. The boutique is dedicated exclusively to diamond jewellery and will stock Navrathan’s entire diamond collection. The store’s In- Charge, Rahul Jain, stated at the inauguration that, “Keeping in mind the ongoing trends, we decided to have a floor which would only cater to diamonds. The specialty of this boutique is that the customers can find full cut diamonds all of the superior quality.”

One main focus of the boutique will be Belgian cut diamonds, which are on display along with many other types of diamond jewellery.

Navrathan Jewellers was founded in Bengaluru in 1954 and is well known for pioneering the incorporation of antique jewellery designs found in temples into their modern collections.

The label currently has three flagship stores, two in Bengaluru and one in New Delhi.
