Naushad Ali, known for his casual, loose silhouettes, presented a collection that featured, as its name would suggest, an array of garments in polka dot print.

The colour palette consisted of predominantly navy blues and neutrals and long dresses and skirts were paired with loose, kimono-esque jackets. Models were given a natural makeup look and simple up-do to compliment the simplicity of the collection and footwear included slip-ons and brogues. Ali’s collection was shown at 4:30pm on January 31 and followed Amrich by Urvashi Kaur.

Naushad Ali is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai, and created his first label, Studio Liam, in Auroville in 2013.

Ali’s designs for his eponymous label are available on the brand’s e-commerce store which launched in August 2017.

The brand is also running a campaign called 'Who Made My Clothes' that is showcasing the workers who construct the brand’s garments to both show their sustainable credentials and create a more intimate dynamic within the production process.
